E-learning for digital design
In this learning section you will find video tutorials focusing on design, interior architecture and architecture. Computer based learning refers to self-paced learning activities on your computer, tablet or mobile. As a part of ‘blended learning’ you define your own speed of learning and choose the best learning environment for you in terms of time and location. This way of learning software will make you independent and prepare you for learning from the wealth of material available on the Internet. In class you have much more time to talk about real issues: your design and what you want to achieve with your concepts.
Videos in the ‘learning section’ are sorted by topic and in a more formal way to give you a basic understanding of software tools. In the section ‘design strategies’ videos are structured from a design point of view and are already based on a basic software knowledge. Initially these videos are a collection to support the teaching of Prof. Klaus Teltenkötter.

Software
Digital design in the field of design, interior architecture and architecture does not depend on one specific software. The same kind of result can be achieved in a number of ways and with different kind of software. Our learning uses the software 3ds max and Para3D. 
3ds max is a 3d-modelling, animation and visualization program already based on parametric. It is very good for advanced and fast conceptual design at every scale. You can also use it for realisation projects in the field of interior design, furniture design and for digital production. It is less suitable for realisation projects on a bigger architectural scale.
 Para3D is a new plug-in for 3ds max enabling parametric design. It is easy to use because you don’t need any further programming software.

Flip teaching as teaching approach
